Ellipse = Circle

The Equation for an Ellipse is clip_image002 and the equation of a circle is clip_image004. Now how to get from an ellipse is very simple, simply keep the ellipse in its x,y coordinate system and the circle will now be turned into a u,v coordinate system.

Something like this: clip_image006 and clip_image008 which gives a circle in the u,v coordinate system of radius 1 but whit an increased density. Finding the density is the tricky part but easy.

clip_image010

The new density of the u,v circle is “a”, clip_image012. Now we do some simple integration, for our purpose a is now a constant

clip_image014
or clip_image016 where clip_image018 and clip_image020

clip_image022

clip_image024

And as we all know the area for an ellipse is clip_image026, in this case a=2 and b=1, the area being 2clip_image028

I should get a new program to sort this shit out
